Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Provides hands-on technical design and implementation to automate application build and deployment solutions

- Create tools and automated workflow capabilities to enable software engineers to promote code across different environments with maximum velocity

Monitor overall site performance and health

- Help development team with troubleshooting issues with applications

- Plan deployment calendar along with development/infrastructure team

- Document and peer review technical designs with engineering team 

- Design and implement infrastructure for highly available and fault tolerant systems

Must know:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields

- Proficiency with Linux - CentOS, RedHat or Debian

- Proficiency in scripting language, such as Bash

- Experience with general monitoring tools such as Nagios (Core, NagiosXI)

- Experience with CI/CD - Jenkis, GitLab or other

- Development background for minimum 1 year in any language

- Working experience with any relational databases, such as MySQL, Oracle or MsSQL

Nice to have:

- Experience with Java, JavaScript

- Experience with job scheduler, workload automation besides crontab

- Experience with Google Cloud

- Experience with ETL tools like Kettle Pentaho or any other

- Experience with MySQL SQL, Oracle PL/SQL

- Experience with ElasticSearch, Splunk and etc

- Experience with  Rundeck, Ansible, JAMS, SOS JobScheduler

- Experience with Perl, PythonPowerShell

Minimum experience with Windows Servers
