The Esthetician is responsible for providing effective and client-focused services in order to increase member usage, retention and results. The Esthetician helps build the Spa business through providing customized service upgrades; recommending, and selling, customized home-use protocols and products; actively promoting special events; pro-actively reaching out to former, current, and non-Spa clients to help drive business; and ensuring that all clients are presented with optimal membership options.

Create the TSI Environment

Models the core attributes of a successful employee with the utmost integrity, lives the mission and empowers others to do the same; focused on building meaningful relationships with members and team members.

Responsibilities include:

Modeling and promoting the Clubhouse Rules.

Adhering to all TSI policies and procedures including, but not limited to timeliness, codes of conduct, uniforms and timekeeping. Setting expectations around the same for team members. Setting expectations for team members.
Starting on-time, confirming the service they are providing, and ending on time

Build a High Performing Team

Actively facilitates self and team member development; constantly seeking new ways to build skills and competency; elevates the brand experience.

Responsibilities include:

Follows all Total Woman Protocols to provides customized, safe, effective and high-quality services

Provide clients with the latest techniques including but not limited to: • Full face & body waxing (including Brazilians)
Facials (including massage)
Responsible for setting up and breaking down room in reasonable amount of time not to exceed 10 minutes; keeps room neat and orderly
Complies with back-bar policies in order to effectively service clients and minimize waste
Makes client confirmation calls for no shows, or clients who are running late (within 15 minutes)
Expected to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed

Achieve Measurable Results

Meets and exceed company goals and metrics surrounding employees and members; never satisfied with the status quo.

Responsibilities include:

Executes the Spa Department tactics as directed, including special events and demos

Performs tasks when not servicing client including, but not limited to, greeting clients at spa or gym front desk, making client phone calls, providing micro-derm demos, product demos, and interacting with gym members
Attends all required training
Demonstrates strong knowledge of all current retail products, services, pricing, and promotions on an on-going basis
Demonstrates the ability to customize services and sell products to meet each client’s needs
Works together with Spa team to obtain departmental goals
Attends team and individual meetings as required
Executes individual and/or team action plans to increase results
Ensures schedule is always up-to-date for one month and built for growth
Consistently meets minimum sales expectations based on then current compensation plan


Required Skills and Experience

Strong communication and listening skills

Ability to customize home care regimen for clients
Works collaboratively
Ability to prioritize and manage time
Takes responsibility for actions and self-development
Holds and maintains a current California State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology License
Training and sales experience required
Minimum of one year experience as a licensed Esthetician required
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk and train clients. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific abilities required by the job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
