Automotive Payroll Clerk (FT)


A large and very busy San Diego area automotive group is looking for an experienced Automotive Payroll Clerk. Sunroad Automotive offers excellent benefits including medical, dental, life and 401k, as well as a pleasant working environment.


Job Responsibilities:


*Enter new employees into the Payroll/HRIS system.

*Review all personnel files for accuracy and completeness of documentation.

*Compute payroll data using timesheets and appropriate records for commissions, bonuses, deductions, hours worked, etc.

*Ensure security and confidentiality of personnel information.

*Complete relevant forms for month-end and year-end payroll procedures.

*Balance wages for W-2’s.

*Maintain G/L distributions in all earnings and deduction coding.

*Verify employee income with written authorization from the employee.

*Update master files with any changes.

*Maintain documentation in personnel files.

*Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards. 



Must be highly organized and have at least two years of experience working in dealerships, with one year minimum as an Automotive Payroll Clerk.
