Position Title Project Administrator
Position Summary:

We are looking for a Project Administrator to provide administrative support for the All of Us Research Program (AoURP) at the Scripps Research Translational Institute (SRTI) in La Jolla, CA. AoURP is a landmark NIH research program that aims to engage one million US participants from diverse social, racial/ethnic, and economic backgrounds in an effort to gain better insights into the biological, environmental, and behavioral factors that influence human health.

The Project Administrator provides general administrative assistance, including calendaring, scheduling, and making travel arrangements; ordering lab and office supplies/computers; processing reimbursement requests for faculty, staff, and vendors; conference room maintenance; meeting set-up; basic AV support; answering phones; sending email correspondence.

Position Description

* Provide a high level of administrative support in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Heavy calendar, phone and travel management support for the AoURP team.
* Schedule and coordinate activities with research partners, such as Sage Bionetworks, Wondros, Walgreens, WebMD, and the National Blood Collaborative.
* Screen office visitors and phone calls, maintain records on compliance and regulations, procedures, systems, and precedents, receive and route mail for department.
* Maintain positive relationships with executive team, faculty and administrative staff.
* Respond to questions and provide information pertaining AoURP project coordination, procedures and services in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
* Disseminate and collect information from SRTI staff, departmental staff, and senior management for the purpose of work coordination, problem resolution, and information sharing.
* Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

This position works in a typical office environment. With or without reasonable accommodation, employees in this position must be able to sit and type at a computer terminal for up to 8 hours per day with appropriate breaks and perform tasks that require fine dexterity and repetitive motions using the arms, hands, wrists and fingers. Further details of the physical requirements of established essential functions for this position will be addressed/discussed during the interview process.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
* Proficient and advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Outlook 365, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Advances organizational skills with high attention to detail and excellent customer service.
* Must be self-directed, with the ability work independently and prioritize multiple tasks, work under pressure with shifting priorities and meet deadlines.
* Proficient skills and ability to work with a diverse work group and individuals at all staff levels; maintain diplomatic and respectful interactions.
* Must be able to work in a team environment and convey positive work ethic to complete any task as requested.
* Must maintain confidentiality and use discretion when dealing with sensitive issues and information.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in industry working as a liaison with relevant stakeholders preferably in the biotechnology and/or healthcare industries.
