Job Description
RDC-S111, Inc. is seeking a Job Captain for its Long Beach, California office.
Job Duties: Performs work requiring independent judgment and critical thinking. Adapts standards and criteria to project requirements and possesses a diverse working knowledge of related disciplines. Responsible for coordinating and producing Contract Documents with support and direction from the Project Manager and other senior staff. Competent in all conventional aspects of architectural practice with an emphasis on the technical implementation of the project design. Assist in developing and maintaining new prototypes for clients. Telecommuting is permitted.
Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Architecture, Drafting and Design, or a related field
Experience Requirements: Two (2) years of experience in each of the following:
" Basic understanding of Building code
" Basic understanding of ADA guidelines
" Basic understanding of SMEP coordination
" Performing 3D documentation, analysis, and modelling tasks
" Utilizing Revit, AutoCAD, or Photoshop to create graphic renderings and models
" Developing designs using sketches, electronic models, physical models, or diagrams
" Documenting every design phase including Schematic Design (SD), Design Development (DD), and Construction Documents (CD)
$60,000 - $80,000
