We are seeking onboard housekeeping crew for our San Diego fleet. Successful candidates will be motivated self-starters who are dependable, have a positive attitude and possess good communication skills. You will work in a fast-paced environment onboard a Hornblower yacht, keeping the vessel clean and presentable while underway during Harbor Tour and/or Whale Watching excursions. A flexible schedule is a must, and most weekends will be mandatory.
Position Specific Responsibilities:
Ability to work on a moving vessel while underway in San Diego harbor or on the Pacific Ocean
Clean common areas including restrooms, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, windows, trash
Ability to problem solve basic repairs
Comply with safety practices, policies, and procedures
Assist with maintaining inventory control of tools, equipment, and supplies.
Assist onboard crew as needed with general housekeeping in all public spaces onboard vessels
Must be able to obtain a TWIC card & MMC card in compliance with Coast Guard regulations
1-year minimum experience in Cleaning and Maintenance is helpful
Knowledge of tools/power tools
Bi-lingual in English/Spanish is a plus
