Job Description
Everest Insurance, a member of the Everest Re Group, Ltd., has an opportunity available for an Administrative Assistant / Office Coordinator at our Los Angeles office.

Responsibilities include:

• Welcome the guests of Everest in the reception area and notify the appropriate team member. Ensure that both internal and external visitors are in the security system prior to their arrival.
• Manage the day to day services of the Chicago Office team which includes copiers, telephones, kitchen, reception area, building and office ID’s, office supplies, etc.
• Serve as the local HR liaison to complete onboarding and termination processes which include computer set-up, workstation set up, office IDs, SilkRoad documentation. Ensure that all new employees are correctly set up and welcomed to Everest.
• Manage all associated expenses for the office including the review of invoices. Process invoices with the approval of the Regional Leader in a timely manner.
• Manage office inventory of supplies including computer equipment. Where required, process equipment returns back to Liberty Corner, NJ.
• Manage assigned Marketing & Distribution assignments to support both the Regional Leader and team. This would include printing and binding of presentations, coordinating of events, and shipping of required materials.
• Serve as the liaison between the Chicago office and Everest Global Services. Responsibilities include any office services such as communication with the building on common area repairs both outside and inside the office.

Work Experience and Qualifications:

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience working in an administrative function in a corporate environment
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and an energetic and enthusiastic attitude; the ability to work well in a professional, team-oriented environment
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
