Non-Exempt Full-time
Responsible for providing analytical and specialized administrative support to relieve engineering management and staff of complex details and advanced administrative duties. Provides administrative support to the Engineering Department in service request, handling Bills of material creation and maintenance, product compliance code listings, database input, purchase order processes, meeting coordination, telephone support and part orders for engineering work.


  • Process, code, and log department expenditures
  • Responds to guest and co-worker service requests and/or complaints in a timely and professional manner by delegating to the corresponding engineering personnel as needed.
  • Conducts and keeps daily checklists, task lists, and logs, as directed.
  • Create and maintain resource inventory and purchase orders.
  • Provides assistance in updating/maintaining department work instructions as directed.
  • Maintains general department document management, contract maintenance, waste management.
  • Process engineering and construction documents to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reproduction and release which include invoices, incoming documents and project documents. .
  • Maintains logs for Hazardous Materials and Inventories.
  • Undertakes additional duties as assigned by upper level management.

  • A minimum 3 years experience as an Admin Assistant for a technical or engineering group in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office/ Outlook)
  • Knowledge of basic accounting, expense reporting, Quickbooks and credit card reconciliation.

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
