Senior Hydroelectric Project Manager
at Cardno ATC
Join Cardno's Science and Environment team as a Senior Project Manager in Sacramento, CA to be a part of managing multi-component and multi-disciplinary projects.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
> Managing multi-component and multi-disciplinary projects
> Managing large sub-consultants teams
> Coordinating environmental technical studies
> Coordinate closely with internal and external project teams to ensure milestones are achieved
> Writing and editing clear, accurate, and defensible environmental documents in compliance with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) regulations, the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)
> Preparing general and technical sections of project reports and proposals
> Implementation of hydroelectric compliance management and monitoring plans
> Maintain positive client relationships
> Bachelors and/or Master’s degree in environmental studies, engineering, or related field
> 10+ years consulting experience, including agency consultation and project management
> Experience managing large projects and working with multiple sub-consultants on a team
> Experience working on FERC hydro projects
> Excellent oral and written communication skills
> Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel
> Strong business/client orientation
> Detail Oriented, Team player
> Ability to periodically travel to field sites and other Cardno offices throughout the U.S.
> Must be authorized to work in U.S. without company sponsorship
> Ability to work well independently and with a diverse, multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced, team oriented work
> Ability to simultaneously work on and manage multiple tasks/projects
> Self-motivated; strong initiative
> Positive and energetic attitude
