FAF Sales and Marketing Intern

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Children’s Bureau’s Social Enterprise, FAF Software, is a true testament to its commitment to innovation and discovery through research. The FAF is a state-of-the-art, web-based assessment tool used to help hard working child welfare professionals and organizations better serve vulnerable children and their families.  The FAF intern will assist with all core aspects of the business including, but not limited to sales and marketing.

COMMITMENT:  Fall 2018, 15 – 20 hours per week

REPORTS TO:   Sales and Marketing Coordinator

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, to include face-to-face and telephone contact
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and multi-task
  • Familiarity with Hootsuite and Canva a plus

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research and create marketing content for social media channels targeting both current and potential clients
  • Create ways to attract more engagement and followers on our social media channels
  • Update, track and report on Google Ads account
  • Assist in maintenance of an accurate and up-to-date CRM database and Constant Contacts lists
  • Research and help find  potential clients through research of competitors and children and family program funding opportunities
  • Become familiar with the FAF Software, FAF website and current marketing materials to help continually think about news ways to market the FAF Software

  • Maintain confidentiality in matters of agency operations, personnel and clients.
  • Maintains positive communications with all agency staff, clients and visitors.
  • Exercise good judgment in performance of duties and responsibilities.
  • Support existing agency policies principles and mission.
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
