There’s a lot of talk in the media, in the industry, and amongst politicians around health care. The cost of access to health care continues to spiral out of control while at the same time there is increased anxiety about the quality of care. The system is broken but we have partnered with organizations in a unique way that focuses on going about the business of fixing the system differently. 
The goal isn’t new; BETTER care at a LOWER cost. What is new is the approach. We are designed FOR the member. Members want a system that is easy to navigate, has predictable costs, and keeps them healthy. That’s what we’re here to do. We know that when we take care of the member we’ll build a sustainable business that offers a valuable service to the community.  Focus will be to partner with, not work against our allies:  
Focus on a common goal, improving the health of members. In many cases the insurance company and the providers have competing goals. NOT US. We all have the same goal, better health outcomes for every member. 
Share information to improve care, population management, and provide a member safety net. Doctors have some information about patients and insurance companies have some information about patients. By combining both sources of information, there is a more complete picture of patient health. With better information, we can collaborate with providers to develop solutions that are more impactful. 
Enable the sharing of information; there is sophisticated technology required to collect, consolidate, and create insights out of that data. Sounds simple, but we’re talking about using thousands of sources and hundreds of disparate systems to create an accurate and actionable view of members’ health. 
There’s simply no other carrier that supports the member the way we will. That’s because we’re working with the provider every step of the way and THAT is the key to BETTER care at a LOWER cost. We are the insurance company we want for ourselves, our families, and colleagues. This joint venture initiative will focus on mid to large employers in the 17 counties  Northern California Market , with future expansion to an additional 5 counties is anticipated

Experience developing and commercializing group and individual Medicare Advantage Products preferred
Financial Sustainability: 
Building and growing the company within current and targeted expansion geographies leveraging company and owner assets to rapidly scale business and deliver on financial goals. 
Conducting financial analysis, forecasting, revenue modeling, and valuation of the company at various developmental stages.

Being an inspirational leader with strong communication and people skills 
Having the ability to manage, motivate and engage employees at all levels of the organization 
Creating a high performance culture and reinforce company vision, values and expected leadership behaviors throughout the organization. 
Ensuring the company’s prominence through activities such as advertising and sales promotion activities, customer service performance and other sales and service activities. 
Serving as the organization’s representative and will leverage company’s transformational vision and capabilities to influence a wide array of professional, policy and regulatory circles 

Background Experience
10+ years of Market level management and demonstrated success managing a P&L for a multi-million dollar company. 
An MBA or equivalent advanced degree. 
Expertise in Health Insurance, Population Health, including analytics, care management, payer/provider network contracting and management and risk management, especially involving value-based care relationships. 
Management start up experience  
Experience in working with ACOs, Patient-centered Medical Homes and Patient Centered Specialty Practices. 
Highly effective communication skills with demonstrated credibility with payers and providers and C-level executives. 
The ability to build a team and oversee both technical and operational services 
Strong understanding of approaches to managing care and quality for populations, including Utilization Management, Care Coordination, Case Management related actuarial basis, analytics and reporting. 
Experience marketing or selling health benefit products to mid to large employers and strong awareness of that segment’s health benefits purchasing preferences and process
Preferable qualification  experience with  Medicare Advantage programs and products
