ACET is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic Helper for a second shift opportuntiy in San Diego, CA.
This position will be governed by CBA.
This position will be 2nd Shift (1400-2230) with potential for some 1st shift training requirements.
Performs aircraft movement, aircraft fuel/defuel, aircraft/rotor system tie down, install/uninstall blade restraints. Securing aircraft and blades, servicing aircraft/ engines/transmissions, and directing maintenance turns. Launch and recover aircraft in support flight test operations. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
- Minimum two (2) years of actual and recent aircraft maintenance/modification/repair experience is required or equivalent rotary aircraft experience
- High School diploma
- Must have and maintain active Secret clearance
Be familiar with all maintenance instruction manuals
- Knowledge and use of special tools/equipment required to perform assigned maintenance tasks is mandatory
