Specialty Veterinary Hospital looking for Internal Medicine Service Supervisor
Skills / Requirements
- Performs nursing duties required of a Registered Veterinary Technician.
- Maintains a regular presence on the floor to ensure client relations, patient care, and employee relations are functioning smoothly within the busy schedule of the medical oncology and radiology departments.
- Performs administrative duties as needed to include recommendation of hiring, evaluating, scheduling, and disciplining staff members; designate, train or oversees training of staff members and/or Floor Leaders.
- Excellent communication skills and proven problem solving ability
- Ability to maintain a positive and upbeat attitude with doctors, team members, and clients
- Willingness and ability to learn new skills; punctual, reliable and flexible
- Able to sit, stand, and walk around most of the day, and lift 35 lbs.
- Registered Veterinary Technician or portable/equivalent credentials
- 5 years progressive experience in supervisory, leadership and nursing experience required; specialty hospital preferred
