Universal Call Center Representative I
The Universal Call Center Representative is responsible for processing financial transactions and answers member account and service inquiries over the telephone in a timely manner while remaining compliant with federal and government regulations. Must have the ability to multitask and move through member calls proficiently and with high quality service. Proactively seeks opportunities in the cross selling of credit union deposit and loan products and services.

Skills / Requirements

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • 1 year related experience and/or training
  • Banking/credit union experience preferred
  • Previous experience in a call center environment preferred
  • Consumer lending experience a plus
  • Must be able to multi-task, function in a fast paced environment and be detail oriented
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral form
  • Ability to sell products and services effectively
  • Ability to interpret banking regulations and compliance standards
  • Ability to build & maintain relationships with internal and external members
  • Must have the ability to use Word for Windows, Excel, and other Microsoft
  • Office applications, as well as the ability to learn new applications quickly
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred
