Monarch HealthCare is currently searching for a detail-oriented, highly polished, Supervisor, Provider Contracting. In this supervisory role, you will be responsible for reviewing all completed contracts, identifying training opportunities for staff, and managing the staffs overall workload. In addition, the Supervisor will also be responsible for monitoring the network to ensure appropriate coverage is available to Monarch enrollees. The Supervisor is tasked with the responsibility to collaborate with internal departments and external physicians, offices and vendors.
Responsibilities:
* Oversight of all new and existing provider agreements including financial impact, rate analysis, payment methodologies, operational effectiveness and scope of services relevant to specialty categories.
* Annual review of adequacy of capitation rates for all specialties to ensure appropriate rates are accurately funded.
* Responsible for the management and maintenance of current/new Standard Operating Procedures (SOP‚s)/Policies & Procedures (P & P‚s)
* Train Administrators/Specialists to ensure a complete understanding of payment methodologies can be effectively presented with new/existing providers.
* Function as a liaison between the Provider Contracting Department and other internal departments to resolve issues on a day-to-day basis
* Manage Letter Of Agreements (LOA‚s) that are requested from the Clinical Department, as well as, interpretation and intent for the Business Operations Department regarding the payment of a claim
Skills / Requirements
* Bachelor‚s degree (BA) from four year college or university along with 6 to 8 years related experience and/or training preferably in health care
* 4 to 5 years managerial/supervisory experience
* 4 years contract negotiation experience in an IPA setting preferred
* Stellar interpersonal skills along with exceptional written and oral skills
* Proficient in MS Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
* Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of a managed care system
