Under the direction of the ICS Manager, the Supervisor supervises the implementation of supported living and say services for adults with development disabilities in community and employment settings. The Supervisor directly supervises all leads and direct staff. Areas of responsibility include arranging staff and participant daily schedule, facilitating natural supports, devising data-based teaching strategies and functional community integrated curriculum, employer relations and writing participants Individual Service Plans. The Supervisor sets an example for staff by maintaining a consistent positive attitude, which is imperative to the success of the service. Specific Duties: In coordination with IABA administrative and accounting departments, ensures adherence to all policies and procedures as outlined in the Business and Service Operations Manuals. Trains employees by ensuring completion of Competency Based Training within required time lines. Provides hands on support to staff by being a primary contact person and reviewing their performances on a regularly defined basis. Monitors and evaluates employee performance on a consistent basis, providing at least annual performance evaluations to all employees. Conducts twice-monthly contact meetings with Lead staff to review overall service delivery. Implements corrective and progressive disciplinary measures to ensure IABA/ICS policies are followed and quality services are delivered, in accordance with IABA disciplinary procedures. Completes AD CBT's and other management training as assigned. Requirements: BA or progress toward in psychology, special education or related field; and supervisory experience relevant to community-based services for person with developmental disabilities. At least two years experience with non-aversive behavior modification techniques . The ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and to physically assist, guide and facilitate movement of clients that may need physical assistance. Valid CA driver's license, car insurance and operational vehicle.
