Job Description:

Currently the Lifetime On-Air Promotions Marketing team is seeking an intern that will assist in the creative process behind on-air promotions, and marketing campaigns. The intern will have the exciting opportunity to participate and observe brainstorming sessions, help to write/produce promo spots, manage footage, and learn the process behind quality control, broadcast delivery, and library maintenance. Additionally, we anticipate the Intern will exercise creativity, contribute to promo writing, learn marketing strategies, work as a team, and familiarize themselves with branding campaigns. We re seeking an Intern that will be able to:

Work with the Manager and VP on project management, contacting various Lifetime advertising agencies and vendors, music searches and general administrative duties.
Learn how to use advertising research tools and programs to analyze and build on-air/off-air strategy, how to interact with vendors, promotions companies, advertising representatives and advertising agencies
Enhance writing and conceptualization skills.
Work collaboratively or independently as needed
Possess exceptional organizational skills

Candidate must be a college undergraduate who is entering their sophomore year in 2012 or graduate students having completed at least one semester of post graduate work. Student must have interest in the industry and/or a specific area of interest through past work experience, internships, and/or major course of study.
