Job Description:
The solution architect is responsible for understanding internal and external customer needs, and designing computer and network systems that allow customers to implement systems for our technology applications. This involves performing system and network modeling, analysis and planning to implement a solution that will meet the business needs within financial budget guidelines. This may include researching software and hardware products or services, and finding best solutions and prices to meet business requirements. In most cases, the architect presents and translates the design to customers to ensure the design will meet our customers' requirements.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, proficient with Visual C++ and C sharp (.NET) or equivalent experience
* Java experience desirable
* Proficient in Objective C (Apple iOS).
* Familiar with big scale application architecture.
* Familiar Windows O/S, Windows Security, Windows Registry, INI file, drive mapping/network configurations, user access rights, Windows Services, Windows environment variables, Windows PATHs, Windows 64-bit.
* Proficient in database SQL and database schema design.
* Familiar with the product deployment process (fresh install or upgrade/patch).
* Proficient in InstallShield scripting and packaging. (This is the main tool used for Ebix desktop products deployment).
* Familiar with Windows installer MSM.
* Excellent communication skills
