As the provider of the MSDgen MSDS authoring, management and distribution software platform, 3E Company is seeking an individual with MSDS industry knowledge and/or software sales experience for a new sales position focused on the representation of 3E s MSDS authoring platform within the western United States. This is a remote/home based position.
Territory: North America (West)
Responsibilities:
* Plans and executes sales in an assigned territory encompassing a multi-state region to identify opportunities, stimulate interest in the MSDgen product, and close new business
* Utilizes direct sales cold calling, client and Sales referrals, trade conferences and non-traditional sales channels to obtain and grow sales pipeline.
* Collaborates with other members of Sales team to strategize and effectively coordinate sales efforts that span multiple national and international regions and product lines.
* Employs understanding of global regulatory requirements and challenges to effectively communicate with potential clients and discuss product capabilities as an industry expert.
* Manages and coordinates sales demonstrations and presentations with in-house product experts to communicate highly targeted product benefits and effectively prove capabilities to prospective clients as part of on-site and online sales presentations.
* Collaborates with Director and product experts to create custom Scope of Work (SOW) and proposal documents for software implementation and related projects.
* Drafts product and service descriptions and content for proposals in response to RFPs and RFQs.
* Collaborates with MSDgen Client Services team for the transition of projects from sales phase into project management phase and provides regular follow up to ensure successful delivery.
Qualifications:
* 2-3 years EH&S business experience required, preferably with experience using or selling MSDS authoring software within the hazard communication field.
* BA/BS required.
* Professional communication and presentation skills (oral, written).
* Willingness to travel; position requires approximately five (5) days of travel per month.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Attention to detail with strong organization skills required.
* Experience with contact management and sales tools such as SalesLogix, Salesforce.com, ACT!, etc.
