Jobing Description
Social Workers work independently with moderate supervision while conducting social services activities that improve the social and psychological functioning of children and their families. The major function of the Social Worker‚s position is to empower children through various social services activities. Other functions include conducting orientations, training and home studies for prospective foster/adoption parents.
Skills / Requirements
Master‚s degree (M.A.) in Social Work or equivalent from an accredited college or university;
Knowledge of DMH documentation
CPR and First Aid Certified
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and the ability learn computer software
Bilingual Spanish
Able to travel to offices in distant locations and attend meetings outside of the office, sometimes in distant locations.
Must have a current, valid CA driver‚s license, current automobile insurance; have a clean driving record acceptable for the company insurance.
