Position Description:
Reporting to Senior Purchasing Manager in Industry Relations, this position will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and management of pharmaceutical procurement for the Mail Pharmacies.
Position will be responsible to ensure that OptumRx purchases adhere to negotiated contract pricing.

Skills / Requirements
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel required
- 3+ years strategic procurement experience required
- 2+ years experience with financial reporting required
- Pharmacy Technician license with two or more years pharmacy purchasing experience strongly preferred
- Experience with contracts preferred
- Strong organizational skills and time management
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with a wide variety of people
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Demonstrated good judgment, and a high degree of professionalism
- Demonstrated ability to achieve targeted, positive outcomes and results.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks, and effectively prioritize work.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
