Jobing Description

Local San Diego Corporation has an opening for an experienced Regional Sales Manager with 3+ years of experience in the foodservice/retail industry. The main responsibilities including, but not limited to developing a west coast food broker network, building a strategic marketing plan for foodservice and retail channels, manage and motivate brokerage team, report weekly sales pipeline activity, and set yearly and monthly goals.

Qualified candidates should be highly motivated, have a plan to create a new sales network, computer literate, good with people, committed to learning, and a track record of success. A college degree is a plus.

Essential functions:

  • Creation of a detailed sales plan
  • Creating a brokerage network for retail and foodservice accounts
  • Creating new products and marketing materials to meet consumer needs
  • Setting sales projections and goals
  • Reporting weekly sales pipeline activity
  • Working to create and maintain restaurant and individual retail store database
  • Meet with possible customer and explain features of benefits of product leading to a sale

    The selected candidate must be reliable, motivated, and willing to achieve the results required by the department to contribute to the continued success of the company.
