Responsible for continuity of patient care, including follow up appointments, referrals and authorizations.
Skills / Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent.
Medical Assistant Certificate, or similar training, strongly preferred.
Minimum one year experience in medical, social service or related field strongly preferred; must have familiarity with medical, social service and housing terminology.
High degree of professionalism with strong communication skills.
Must work effectively with patients, physicians and fellow staff members.
Computer proficiency with minimum 35 wpm typing.
