4INFO is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to work with our technology team to help design, develop and test 4INFO's next generation mobile advertising delivery software platform. The Quality Assurance Engineer will be an integral part of the team in improving quality across the company's products and processes. Responsibilities include creating test strategies, writing test plans, and implementing automated test systems.

We are looking for a candidate who has a high level of energy, enthusiasm, intelligence, creativity, and adaptability. This person will work closely with other technical people in a multicultural environment. Therefore, we are looking for a candidate who has good communication and teamwork skills.

The candidate must have at least 1-2 years of work experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer where 1-2 years are dedicated to mobile platform and/or application testing.

This position reports into the QA Manager, and is located at the 4INFO San Mateo office.

Job Responsibilities

* Create test plans and test cases from feature descriptions provided by Product Management and from technical requirements from the Engineering team.
* Execute test cases, analyze results, report defects, and verify fixes.
* Work closely with internal teams to understand product requirements, architecture and technology, and develop the most optimal test methodology.
* Work closely with program manager to provide and maintain schedule, communicate status and update status reports.
* Develop and maintain test automation codes.
* Develop and maintain QA test environment and documents.
* Ability to work with both internal and external customers and meet project deadlines.

Job Requirements

* Quality-minded, self-motivated with excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
* Basic understanding and working knowledge of LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP) and WEB (Tomcat/Jboss) technologies.
* Basic understanding and working knowledge of mobile devices, applications, WAP banners and mobile video.
* Basic understanding of Java, JavaScript, JSP, HTML, XML. SOAP, PHP and Shell Script.
* Basic understanding of Jira/Bugzilla and TestLink.
* Understanding of testing automation and scripting.
* Basic understanding of Ad Operations a plus.
* Expertise in HTTP protocol and Jmeter.
* Expertise in QA methodologies.
