Our Network Services Department is looking for a decisive, energetic Network Manager to join the Western Region Team located in our San Francisco office. This fast-paced position provides exciting opportunities for professional growth with a Fortune 100 Company as well as the opportunity to work with talented team of professionals. The hired individual will recruit new providers and maintain the current provider network. He/she will also look for areas to improve the processes and direct quality assurance initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
-Managing a network of behavioral health physicians, clinicians and facilities/programs.
-Identifying network gaps and recruiting physicians, clinicians and facilities/programs to meet these needs.
-Acting as liaison between providers and UBH to resolve problems that arise
-Consistently identifying areas for process improvement and participating in these initiatives
-Participating in quality assurance initiatives
-Interaction and collaboration with care advocacy centers
-Interactions with sales/marketing organization
-Reviewing contract language and reimbursement methodologies
-Managing multiple projects/priorities with short deadlines
-State to state travel to meet with large key provider groups/facilities
-Staff management of small support team

Skills / Requirements
This position requires provider network management or provider relations experience preferably within a behavioral health environment, along with keen analytical and negotiation skills.
- Undergraduate degree (Master degree preferred)
- 2+ years of provider relations and/or provider network experience.
- Intermediate level of proficiency in claims processing and issue resolution.
- Exceptional presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and remain on task.
- Good organization and planning skills.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines from multi-staff members within the department.
- Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
