Jobing Description
Location: California-Redondo Beach
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.Prepares as-built configuration reports (ABCR) which consist of interpreting engineering drawings, manufacturing operations, and procedures.Reviews engineering drawings and data changes.Coordinates with engineering and customers of any open pending issues to assure customer requirement milestones are fulfilled.Initiates/Routes change control worksheets (CCW).
Skills / Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience, plus 3 addtional years experience. Strong Project Management and organizational skills required with above average competency in MS Project and Excel applications. Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in aerospace/manufacturing desirable. SAP Level 1.
