Vista Community Clinic, a private, non-profit medical, dental and social services center serves people who experience social, culture or economic barriers to health care in a comprehensive, high quality setting. We provide the highest quality services in five different locations throughout Vista and Oceanside.

We are currently seeking a motivated, high energy leader, who enjoys challenges and multi-tasking, to fill the position of Prenatal Supervisor.

The person who fills this position will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance and monitoring of assigned health grants/programs at all sites. Oversee and manage the work plan and budget as defined by the program guidelines. Ensure objectives and scope of work are being met and develop corrective action plans/strategies as needed. Complete program/grant reporting requirements and assist with the development of data collection systems. Develop and coordinate class schedules. Oversee the creation of training curricula and collateral marketing materials. Provide direct supervision to assigned program staff. Select, orient, train and evaluate job performance. Monitor budgets and scopes of work to ensure objectives are being met. Prepare training curriculum and provide ongoing training for program staff, clinic staff and program participants as required. Assess learning styles and choose appropriate teaching methods. Monitor changes in reproductive health regulations and legislation; update and inform administration and staff as needed. Participate in grant writing and public speaking as needed. Develop, implement and maintain program policies, procedures and protocols.

Skills / Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
* High school graduate or equivalent with Medical Assistant certificate
* Minimum five years documented related experience with progressive responsibility
* Minimum three years supervisory experience
* Availability and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
* Valid California driver‚s license, current vehicle insurance and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor‚s degree in education, social sciences, and\or equivalent combination of related education and experience
* Program development experience
* Childbirth Educator certification
* Bilingual, English/Spanish

Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
* Knowledge of related health issues; possess good written and verbal communication skills; and have previous supervisory experience
* Knowledge of available local community and government resources, community health centers, public assistance programs, and state/federal regulations
* Ability to work with people of all social and ethnic backgrounds and within the constraints of government funded programs
* Proficient in Windows, MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point)

Preferred Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
* Experience/familiarity with Practice Management and Electronic Medical Records systems, NextGen preferred
