Come join our community dedicated to the service of senior adults! We are faith-based, not-for-profit continuing care retirement community offering independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing care for nearly 500 senior residents. Our 28 landscaped acres overlook Sweetwater Lake in Spring Valley.
We are currently seeking part-time Dining Room Servers to provide prompt, courteous service to all residents and guests in the dining room.
Skills / Requirements
1. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively in English with residents and staff. The individual must also be able to read and write English well in order to take orders and have the ability to obtain a San Diego Food Handlers Card.
2. Minimum age is 16. Any minor ages 16-17 must have a Minor Work Permit completed and signed by parent or guardian and by their school before beginning first day of work.
3. Prior experience working in dining service is preferred.
4. Ability to work in close harmony with others especially with youth and with elderly. Compassion for seniors is a must.
5. A high degree of personal cleanliness and hygiene are required.
