ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
This position is responsible for providing customer service, procedural training for the staff, monitors all financial controls for the properties, schedules employees and subordinate staff, evaluates employee s job performance and coaches them to achieve shared goals for the company, and monitors supplies and equipment repair needs.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Ensure proper staffing for location
* Oversee employee training and development with emphasis on service standards
* Hold regular staff meetings and develop employee recognition programs
* Evaluate employee performance
* Create programs to increase customer service as well as employees awareness of its importance.
* Coach and Discipline Employees
* Evaluate staffing levels and hire additional employees as needed.
* Plan and organize events
* Maintain constant communication with property management and client
* Resolve any tenant or property management concerns in a timely and efficient manner
* Participate in Client Contact program
* Organize bi-weekly meetings to discuss Operating statements as well as A/R issues.
* Conduct property walks with Property Managers to improve site appearance and operation.
* Prepare payroll and overtime reports
* Oversee location maintenance projects
* Attend weekly management meetings
* Monitor equipment for audit compliance, trouble-shoot problems and make minor repairs or adjustments, and request service.
* When needed, deliver validations, keycards or correspondence.
* Answer office phones and assist customers when needed.
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and or ability required.
* BA/BS required
* Minimum of 5 years supervisory/management experience Hotel, Retail, and/or Customer Service environment preferred
* Proficiency in Manual transmission
* Word processing: must be able to generate business correspondence and memos
* Experience with database system and Lotus Notes preferred.
* Excellent communication skills: must be able to interact with employees, tenants, vendors, and property management in a professional and friendly manner
* Proven ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, pay attention to detail, and manage time efficiently
* Creativity and flexibility. The work environment is constantly evolving and a prepared manager will be able to adjust management style to correspond with this changing environment.
