We have an immediate opening for an Network Administrator in our Mission Valley office!
Collateral Risk Solutions is an innovative due diligence firm specializing in nationwide appraisal auditing for lending institutions. CRS is focused on creating the technology and the future for how the appraisal auditing industry works.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under limited supervision, the Network Administrator provides support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.
The successful candidate will have ambition and will be looking to innovate, take on new projects, and grow along the company. Candidate will have strong PC/Server & Network troubleshooting skills and will be able to resolve basic to advanced hardware, software, and connectivity problems quickly. Strong customer relations skills are also very important.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Answers questions and resolves routine technical problems by phone.
Provide end-user technical support for both standard and custom applications.
Identifies and isolates problems based on comments and complaints.
Researches problems utilizing historical data records or routes more complex problems to supervisor.
Supports and troubleshoots end users in timely and cost-effective manner; resolving hardware and software challenges as needed.
Setup, maintain, document, and troubleshoot computers/printers/network devices.
Support remote office IT needs.
Sets up, configures, and supports internal and/or external networks.
Develops and maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations.
Troubleshoots network performance issues and creates and maintains a disaster recovery plan.
Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment.
Provides technical support and guidance to users.
As part of the Information Technology department, the occasional need to work late and on weekends is required.

REQUIREMENTS:
Strong knowledge of networking hardware and protocols.
Extensive experience setting up routers, firewalls, and VPN devices.
Excellent hardware, software and network troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Experience in assembling new systems, installing operating systems, drivers and applications.
Microsoft Operating Systems and Office applications.
Knowledge of Microsoft networking technologies, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, domain architecture.
Symantec Enterprise applications (Endpoint Protection, Backup Exec).
Citrix Presentation Server Administration.
Support of Customer Service.
Ability to work overtime as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
AA/AS in applicable field of study preferred.
Microsoft and CompTia certifications preferred.
3-5 years of related work experience required.Important Notes
