Jobing Description
Location: California-Redondo Beach
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects in the Sector Program Management Office. Serves as liaison betweensector management and programplanning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. Leads the Program Management Community of Practice, manages processes and procedures, organizes learning and development events, and supports Non-Advocate Reviews and Program Stand Up Reviews. Represents sector Program Management on teams andon sector-wide initiatives.
Skills / Requirements
Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) with 15 years related program management experience; Masters and 13 years experience. Requires thorough knowledge and expertise of program management processes, procedures, practices, and tools; and experience with the NGAS sector Process Architecture, Integrated Management Framework, and project management techniques. Knowledge of the activities of the PM CoP and PM Council. Requires Secret Security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Program or project management experience preferred.
