Jobing Description

* Working with vendors to select products for testing.

* Identifying, selling, negotiating, and contracting with new and existing vendors to test products in upcoming mailings.

* Present new products to upper management, attend merchandising meetings, complete paperwork and close test mailings on goal and on time.

* Willing to travel to trade shows to meet new vendors and conduct competitor inquiries to keep up with changing market trends and conditions.

Skills / Requirements

* Must have at least 1-2 years previous retail buying or merchandising experience.

* Ability to identify market and pricing trends.

* Strong negotiating skills.

* Established book of business strongly preferred.
