Position Description:

Family Practice Medical Assistant - Preferably completed internship and or at least one year in a physician practice setting. Ability to take and document vitals.
Several locations available in and around the greater Long Beach/Los Alamitos area.

Positions in this function are responsible for overseeing and participating in day to day clinical care of patients. Employees are involved in direct patient care (in a clinic, in-home care, etc.)

Skills / Requirements

Requirements:

  High school diploma or GED
  


• 
  
  Must have current Medical Assisting Certification, excellent verbal communication skills, a personality and appearance that makes patients feel cared for by a competent and kind professional.

  Ability to use a computer including basic email, typing, turning on a computer, navigating different windows, using the mouse, and opening program applications
  

Assets:

Front desk experience helpful.
Basic experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook helpful.
Customer service experience helpful.
