Jobing Description
Your role will be to pull and process sold product and insure proper product
identification and placement in the warehouse for pick-up by the contact delivery service. Utilizes forklift, mattress cart and use radio frequency scanning equipment to accomplish job duties.
Essential Functions:
Will complete a forklift inspection as outlined on the forklift Inspection checklist.
Will use scanner to prompt information indicating specific merchandise to be pulled.
Utilizes forklift to pull merchandise from bins and stages on dock floor.
On occasion will off-load product from truck(s).
May assist the department supervisor(s) with placing barcode labels on incoming merchandise and/or scanning products for update on purchase order receipts.
Performs various cleaning duties to make sure warehouse is clean for the
following shift.
Conducts cycle counts on specific merchandise, as instructed, to help identify and correct receiving discrepancies
Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company's discretion.Skills / Requirements
Education:
High School Diploma or
Experience:
Prior experience in warehouse shipping (order picker, forklift driver, receiving clerk, quality inspection, inventory control etc.)
Preferred experience driving cherry picker forklift.
Preferred experience with RF scanners
Ability to lift up to 50-80 lbs.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Highly organized with attention to details.
Must have excellent customer service skills.
Training Requirements:
Forklift certified
Other Information:
Able to lift heavy objects
Must be able to work weekends.
Bilingual preferred
