Responsibilities:

The CIS Division is seeking a Lean Manufacturing Engineer to join our team.

This individual will lead, mentor and coordinate lean initiatives for process improvements at the plant. This person will be responsible for the continuous improvement environment at the facility. Must have an in depth knowledge and applied all the elements of Lean Manufacturing: Lean Principles, 5S, Value Stream Map, Pull Systems, SMED, TPM and be experienced in running Kaizen events. The preferred candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing Lean Transformation, planning and implementation of Lean/Six Sigma principles in Transactional based business is also an advantage. Ideal candidate must be able to develop new training materials and adapt existing materials.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

- Provide leadership and direction to individuals and multi-functional teams in identifying, planning and implementing lean initiatives

- Identify and implement key Lean metrics, estimate financial impact of projects, provide follow-up, updates and reports to management

- Provide basic Lean training in support of planned events, including training operators, manufacturing supervisors, and other plant personnel

- Utilize team-based approach to elicit employee participation in the development of systems that improve the business

- Apply problem solving skills with creativity and innovation

Requirement:

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Science or higher in Industrial, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering

- 5+ years of experience in working with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies

- Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt is a plus

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and encourage cultural change

- Must have hands-on experience with continuous improvement techniques in Lean and Six Sigma. Must also have a proven record of achieving cost savings and measurable operational improvements.

- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate at all levels of the organization
