The Radar IPT (Integrated Product Team) Leader is a direct report to the VTUAV Mission Systems IPT and will coordinate and collaborate closely with the VTUAV Chief Engineer for all technical solutions. This position will be responsible for all

planning, scheduling, cost, and performance aspects to achieve program goals and objectives. This individual will provide day-to-day guidance and direction regarding the design, development, acquisition, assembly, checkout, acceptance test, troubleshooting, anomaly resolution, ground testing and vehicle preparation for flight testing. Candidate must have experience leading an IPT team consisting of: designers, integrators, customers, and suppliers. Candidate must have real

time field experience with various radar systems on a wide range of modern tactical aircraft. The candidate must possess an in-depth knowledge of current radar systems capabilities, performance characteristics, and integration requirements. The candidate must also possess technical competence from the front-end array to back-end processor and operational software in an open systems architecture environment. Knowledge of all-weather, multimode, multi-waveform search-andtrack programmable digital sensors that optimize situational awareness and provide superior air-to-air and air-to-ground capability for image resolution, and targeting. Knowledge of integrating advanced EO and IR sensors with lasers for locating and designating targets day or night. Additional knowledge of Automatic target recognition and Integration of laser tracking and infrared targeting functions for delivery of information to other nodes in the networked theater. The Radar IPT will interface with all levels of customer representatives to ensure that all specifications and the customer requirements are achieved. This position is located in San Diego, Ca. and requires some travel to support customer satisfaction and program integration.

Skills / Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

A BS in Engineering, or related technical field, plus a

minimum of 9 years related experience (great amount of experience with HS diploma)and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

is required. An Active Secret DoD security clearance

is required with the ability to obtain Special Access

designations.
