SUMMARY
Performs skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of facilities, equipment, and furnishings at RV Park. Performs basic cleaning duties including making sure RV grounds are clean and free of trash and debris, trash cans are emptied and restrooms including toilet, urinals, sinks, showers, mirrors, counters and floors are clean.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Maintains assigned area of the facility.
Adjusts heating and air conditioning systems.
Maintains, installs, and repairs plumbing systems throughout the facility.
Repairs roofs and replaces floor and ceiling titles.
Performs basic cleaning duties including making sure RV grounds are clean and free of trash and debris, trash cans are emptied and restrooms including toilet, urinals, sinks, showers, mirrors, counters and floors are clean.
Performs preventative maintenance throughout the facility and on the equipment.
Maintains interior and exterior walls and surfaces by painting, plastering, and/or general repairing.
Performs carpentry and other construction work in remodeling.
Responds to maintenance emergencies.
Moves furniture.
Inspect buildings, facilities, and equipment to ascertain needed repairs; makes or recommends repairs or alterations as needed.
Prepares interior and exterior hand railings by washing, scraping, or sanding.
Ensures a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within scope of responsibility.
Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

Skills / Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
* Experience working with basic plumbing, carpentry, and/or related building trades.
* Knowledge and proper use and maintenance of hand and power tools related to job functions.
* Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
* Must have the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment.
* California driver-s license required.
* Must complete in house propane certification course annually.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10-s and 100-s. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- to two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
