LEAD ELECTRICIAN

Job Description:

As the Lead Electrician at Tesla Motors, you will be responsible for performing hands-on electrical work as well as leading a group of internal electricians. You will manage project timing and costs, material orders, internal workforce/project planning and contractor coordination. You will utilize your skill as an expert electrician to personally complete electrical work tasks while as well as your leadership skill to manage Tesla s internal team of electricians as well as electrical contractors, as required.

Job Profile:

* Manage electrical project timing, costs, material orders and internal workforce activities
* Perform electrical work tasks to include installation, test, repair, and or maintenance of production and industrial facility equipment
* Plan layout and complete installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes

Qualifications:

* Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Facilities Electrician for industrial and/or large commercial manufacturing facilities
* Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated success in skilled workforce management, to include project coordination and planning, task allocation and supervision responsibility
* Expertise in the installation, repair and maintenance of electrical systems (to include high voltage 480v +) for large industrial applications to include HVAC systems, compressed air systems, cooling systems, chillers, process water systems, etc.
