Gather business requirements relating to business processes and business rules and translate them into appropriate design deliverables. Responsible for architectural design, implementation, unit testing and defect resolution of integration development artifacts. Responsible for IBM SOA architecture and developing SOA standards and best practices. Configure, performance tune and customize IBM Websphere BPM Server to meet business and technical requirements. Utilize Business Process Execution Language (BPEL). Responsible for mediation flow development using Websphere Integration Developer 7.0 and for interface analysis and design. Identify Websphere Process Server issues affecting other inter-related projects and document impact analysis. Provide integration solution delivery expertise, lead and co-ordinate with offshore resources and estimates for component build effort. Websphere Process Server software installation/ upgrades, patch deployments, maintenance and support for high availability and failover. Review Websphere Process Server solution implementations, document lessons learned & recommend improvements where appropriate. Design and implement application enhancements in collaboration with different business units. Influence senior management in terms of key design and architecture decisions, predicting emerging customer needs and developing innovative solutions to meet them. Utilize implementation skills in IBM SOA using Middleware tools like Websphere Process Server/Websphere ESB.
Skills / Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
5 years related, progressive, post-baccalaureate experience.
Must have demonstrated experience with (1) IBM SOA reference architecture, SOA standards and best practices; (2) Business Process Execution Language (BPEL) and mediation flow development using Websphere Integration Developer 7.0; (3) interface analysis and design, Websphere Process Server build and deployment; and (4) configuration and performance tuning for Websphere Process Server.
