Location: California-El Segundo
Lead project engineering IPT activities; manage and direct the work of approximatley35 employees assigned to the IPT.Provide technical direction, manage horizontal integration efforts across the product IPT design areas.Act as a customer interface for program activities, responsible for organization reviews with customers/stakeholders while managing cost, schedule & technical performance.Coordinate & manage SOW activities; identify & manage program risks, issues and opportunities; implement corrective/preventive action plans as required. Integrates design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts in support of flight clearance processes.Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans & schedules; identify program problems & obtains solutions, such as resource allocations and streamlining corrective actions.Directly accountable to the program SEIT Director for the execution of responsibilities outlined above in accordance with sector and program policies
Skills / Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
14+ years of successful project management experience. Ability to lead and manage a diverse work force to accomplish challenging, cost and schedule driven tasks. Strong technical and financial background. Ability to perform and support EVMS, flight operations, requirements definition and horizontal integration.
Top Secret security clearance required.
