HID Global is seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager to be part of its Information Technology Team. The ideal candidate is innovative and adaptive, who can overcome and succeed in a constantly changing business and technology landscape as necessary. The candidate is a team player who has managed infrastructure projects in the past and the ability to lead diverse teams. The candidate should possess leadership skills that include excellent communications skills, ability to work independently as part of a larger team, self motivated, and a desire to improve the status quo. A successful candidate would be one who can use his/her technical expertise and analytical skills to design and optimize the existing infrastructure and recommend solutions to improve the environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on, detail oriented project management. Manage the full lifecycle of enterprise level IT infrastructure projects, from project initiation and planning to project closure.
  • Manage and control scope for assigned initiatives. Deliver high-quality results in line with schedule, cost and scope expectations while achieving great customer satisfaction with business partners, stakeholders and project team members.
  • Develop and manage project communication plans between Business and IT organization, and within IT vertical teams.
  • Drive and manage till closure all issues related to project initiatives, resolving conflict and negotiating compromise where appropriate.
  • Identify, monitor, mitigate and communicate potential risks that might affect project quality and /or expectations.
  • Develop and manage strong relationships with key internal customers.
  • Monitor the success of initiatives after go-live. Commitment to achieving long term customer satisfaction.
  • Motivate team members and business partners to stay focused on in-flight projects within a demanding and dynamic business environment.
  • Manage vendor engagements and vendor resources in projects as appropriate.
  • Nurture strong and effective relationships with repeat vendors.
  • Develop and manage project budgets.
  • Engage, promote and continuously improve HID IT project management methodology.
    • Qualifications
  • PMI PMP Certification.
  • 5+ years as a project manager with 3+ years managing global IT infrastructure projects.
  • Accurate and reliable work with attention to detail.
  • Excellent self management skills. ITIL is a plus.
  • Able to interface with the business and write manager friendly communications.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
