Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems sector is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be
located in El Segundo, CA.
Put your years of experience into a future of excellence... The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Security Operations within the LA
area supporting various programs.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal
security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from
government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel
and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares
reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
* Responsible for reviewing and entering data to an access control system.
* Responsible for maintaining document control inventories.
* Reconciles multiple databases for accuracy
* Briefing/debriefing personnel for activities such as: new hires, terminations, foreign defensive travel, project specifics
* Processes visitors to company or customer facilities.
* Acts as first representative of the company or organization to outside visitors.
* Coordinates escort services.
* Ensures security protocol and procedures are adhered.
* Coordinates with event leaders for special event activities.
* Conducts security investigations and reports
* Writes security operational plans for program implementation
Skills / Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
* Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance
*‚ 0 Years with Bachelors; 0 Years with Masters (can be substituted with equitable work experience)
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
* The ideal candidate will have a background in classified programs and a thorough understanding of government security guidelines
* Good communication and writing skills
* Position prefers a candidate with a current TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance
