Job: Hazardous Material Classification Coordinator

More information about this job: Responsibilities:

* Process standard requests for classification data
* Update databases on a regular basis, meeting established department quality standards
* Perform classification in accordance 49 CFR, IATA, IMDG and TDG requirements
* Perform Fire Code, NFPA, and HMIS classification in accordance with department quality standards
* Perform Waste Classification on Federal and State Level
* Update client inventory data and post/email client files in accordance with all department guidelines
* Provide support to specialists and TPS on select custom projects

Qualifications:

* Thorough knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook
* Excellent written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Multi-tasked to meet numerous response times and deadlines
* Strong organization and time management skills
* Minimum 1- 2 years of customer service experience
* Knowledge of current 29 CFR, 40 CFR, 49 CFR, Fire Code and Transportation Regulations, preferred
* Advanced MS Access skills, preferred
* 1 year college level chemistry or equivalent
* Thorough knowledge of 3E services, including internal applications, a plus
* Related 4 year college degree completed/in-progress or equivalent experience, a plus
