GEICO is looking for candidates with a great attitude and customer service experience to assist our existing policyholders at our Western Regional Headquarters in Poway. Previous insurance experience is not required-we will train you!

Through our comprehensive, on-site training we'll teach you about our dynamic industry, and insurance policies and regulations, preparing you to assist our customers with their auto policies. Training is fully paid and in states that require a license we will sponsor you for your Insurance License!

IMPORTANT POSITION DETAILS

Start Date: March 12, 2012

Starting pay: $16.00 - $17.00/hr depending on education.

Training schedule:

*9:00am to 5:15pm for the beginning part of training (approx. 2 weeks) **Thursday and Sunday off

*9:00am to 5:15pm for the latter part of training (10-13 weeks) **Wednesday & Sunday off


Start times after training will range from 9-12pm and will include working one weekend day (Saturday or Sunda)

MUST BE WILLING TO WORK SPLIT DAYS OFF AND SOME MAJOR HOLIDAYS.

Skills / Requirements

Candidate Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Prior customer service experience
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent computer and multi-tasking skills
* Ability to gather information and make decisions
* Must be comfortable working in a call center environment
* Must have excellent customer service skills and genuinely care for our policyholders!
