Job Description :
Position Purpose: Guide members in the selection of the best products and services. Be knowledgeable in all product and promotional offerings to assist members and fellow employees. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following non-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned. All duties are to be performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Credit Union policies and procedures. Assist members with account and new account services. Determine membership eligibility and open new membership account Open savings and checking accounts Open share certificate and money market accounts Process allotment starts, payroll deposits, direct deposits, ATM and Check card requests, and audio response Knowledgeable about credit union products and services including: All share products All consumer loan products Rate information for share and consumer loan products All service products Assist members with consumer loan requests. Discuss consumer loan products, rates, payments and terms Conduct loan interviews Process, input, and fund consumer loan requests Maintain contact with member regarding loan status Perform other services pertinent to member transactions Process check orders Perform account file maintenance Research account activity Actively cross sell products and services Serve as backup to Teller functions.

Skills / Requirements

Job Requirements :
Education and/or Experience: -High School Diploma or general education degree (GED). -One year new account and/or lending experience in a credit union or similar financial institution. May accept candidate with equivalent combination of teller experience and cross- trained in essential duties and responsibilities of FSR I.
