A leading provider of senior care is currently recruiting for a Transportation Aide with a Class B passenger endorsement.

As the Transportation Aide you will be responsible for accompanying residents to physician appointments or social events.
Skills / Requirements
* Accompany resident(s) on outings either individually or in groups. Drives St Paul vehicle or accompanies driver to doctor appointments and/or social events.
* Observes, documents and communicates to Charge Nurse any and all changes of Resident's physical and mental capacities.
* Identifies vehicle safety hazards and takes action to ensure correction as required and in a timely manner.
* Assesses Resident equipment and supply needs, and makes recommendations to Charge Nurse if problems arise.
* Completes reports and assignments accurately and adheres to established time schedules and frequencies.
* Establishes and maintains open lines of communication between all PSU personnel.
* Ensures full compliance with all Residents‚ Rights requirements.
* Works cooperatively with Residents, supervisors, employees, families, physicians, consultant personnel and ancillary service providers.
* Works for multiple facilities and maintains trip log identifying specific action and hours involved.
*Must have a valid CPR and First Aide Card
*Must have a clean driving record and hold a valid Class B driver's license with passenger endorsement
