We are currently seeking a qualified Director of Staff Development.
Del Amo Gardens Convalescent Center is a 24-hour skilled nursing facility conveniently located in a safe, residential neighborhood near Torrance Memorial Medical Center and Little Company of Mary Hospital. Our 94-bed semi-private room facility is surrounded by beautiful gardens and enclosed patios, which add to the warm, homelike setting.

Skills / Requirements
Certified DSD with at least two years of experience. Must be familiar with infection control logs, scheduling of the nursing staff, annual in-service requirements, OBRA and Title 22 regulations. Must be teachable and must be able to demonstrate leadership qualities and know how to teach the nursing staff. Must be a team player and willing to pass medications or do treatments, if needed. Must be a self starter and be able to take initiative to get the job done.
