VOA has an opening for a Director of Human Resources. This position is responsible for the overall management of the Human Resource functions for a social service, non-profit organization. The main areas of focus are: salary administration, job analysis, employee retention, recruitment, employee relations, workers compensation, employee orientation and benefits administration. Coordinates with the Payroll & Benefits Assistant to assure payroll and benefit administration complies with all applicable laws.
Skills / Requirements
1. A Bachelor‚s Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources Management. PHR/SPHR certification desirable.
2. 6-10 years experience in Human Resources management and non-profit experience desirable.
3. In-depth knowledge of Federal and State Labor Laws.
4. Recent recruitment and employee relations experience.
5. Knowledge of various Human Resource and Microsoft computer applications. Proficient with HRIS systems.
6. Must possess the ability to set priorities, problem solve and analyze situations efficiently.
7. Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
