The Director of Neuropsychology oversees the full continuum of neuropsychology services for Casa Colina patients and clients. Recruits, retains, develops and evaluates Neuropsychology staff (including the professional conduct of any psychologists/neuropsychologists working as consultants on our campus). Serves as the lead Neuropsychologist at the Transitional Living Center, working with the Clinical Director to maximize client outcomes through program development and management. The Director will also have oversight across the continuum for clinical intervention, research, education, mentorship, intern programs, budget and consultation of Neuropsychology and Psychology services. Demonstrates knowledge of high quality neuropsychology assessment, intervention, and outcome tool selection for persons with neurologic impairments.
Qualifications include: Licensed by the State of California Board of Psychology. ABPP-CN board certification or board-eligible. Experience working with patients who have neurologic impairments. Proficient in testing and evaluation patients referred resulting from acquired or traumatic injuries. Progressively responsible management experience sufficient to supervise doctoral candidate. Five years of clinical experience in a hospital or outpatient setting preferred, one or more years in a leadership role. AHA CPR/AED and First Aid is required. Prefer One (1) year in rehabilitation setting.
