We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Director, Developer Program & Platform in our Glendale or San Francisco, CA offices. We know local, and we’re looking to expand that by creating a world-class Developer Program. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own all elements of AT&Ti’s Developer Program & Platform driving the strategy, roadmap, evangelism and growth
• Position AT&T Interactive as the one stop shop for developers to build, market and monetize their local apps
• Cultivate a vibrant developer community through speaking engagements, blogging, meetups, hackathons, contests, sample applications, etc
• Ensure developer community is properly supported through forums, tech support, SDKs, sample code, documentation, etc
• Define and deliver on roadmap by determining which APIs and underlying content will have the greatest positive impact to developers

REQUIREMENTS

• First and foremost, a great passion for building cool apps with your company’s API
• Strong marketing instincts and good judgment in representing your brand
• Technical skills (coding experience is a plus) that can relate to developers and their feedback and represent this to your API team accurately.
• Social skills that can be effective in both online social forums and offline developer events, such as hackathons
• Prior experience in running successful developer programs and platforms
• Forward looking and capable of strategic thinking and tactical execution (ie you need to get your hands dirty)
• Strong public speaker with world class presentation skills
• Deep technical capabilities and desire to hack away and build things
• High energy, team player, anything can be done attitude
